Learn from my Mistake in Business!

Long time no talkey.

I took a step back from writing this newsletter and the business to get clear on what exactly I'm doing here.

I wasn't happy with how things were going. I felt that my impact with this work was lacking and I was spinning my wheels creating content.

Here's What I Learnt:

It's not that I didn't have purpose.

I tried to be too many things to too many people. I didn't want to step on anyone's toes or ruffle any feathers - even in the slightest.

Buuuuut, when you're doing things or building things that are outside of the norm, it's inevitable that some people will like it more than others.

I wouldn't call it a problem of niche. I'm not even sure I believe in niche, when it comes to marketing.

It was a lesson in clarity, courage, and decisiveness.

So, from here on out, this work is about building a thriving business without social media, no ifs and buts.

The lesson for you: Is there anywhere in your business where you're trying to be everything to everyone with out being something to someone?

I'm retiring strategy sessions and created something new for you.

Going forward I'm offering 1:1 coaching sessions that address subconscious and emotional blocks in your marketing and business.

Why? Because marketing is an inner game.

Our subconscious runs 95% of our life, including how we show up for work.

A lot of stuff lives in our subconscious and body: hopes, fears, hurt from 10 years ago, and that one time your crush called you "weird" in high school that still drives you to fit in 20 years later or so.

Bottom line: you can try to play marketing by all the rules. If you've got a subconscious fear around putting yourself out there, for example, promoting what you do will be an uphill battle.

On the plus side: There are things you can do to identify and heal that, and you can move forward with your goals and dreams.

I'm changing how you can work with me because I realized that most people can probably create some sort of rudimentary marketing strategy.

What's much harder - and important! - is to dare to follow your inner wisdom. Sure, you've got this cool idea about how you'll market or run your business but conventional wisdom and your inner naysayer tell you it's not happening.

So, you force yourself to do something you don't want to - and don't get much success with it.
