This week, I wanted to highlight ChatPDF, a powerful platform for optimizing PDF file management. This tool allows you to convert, edit, and collaborate on PDFs, streamline your workflow, and protect sensitive information. You may have read that I shared a popular AI tool called ChatGPT. Well, imagine being able to ask your PDF questions with the power of AI!

ChatPDF allows you to convert, edit, and collaborate seamlessly while safeguarding confidential documents. This tool helps you with red flags you may want to look for in your due diligence as well as how you could improve a potential acquisition. I’ve used the free version with a PDF including financial information and it was cool to see the insights it pulled from the text and graphs!

• Virtual Networking: Raquel Rigby is ready to talk deals with you! She initiated an ongoing thread inviting members to have a weekly virtual networking session, which will be Thursdays at 5pm CST. • Scaling Publishing Biz: Peter Fraser found a dry cleaner that adheres to most of the things he’s looking for in a deal. They have had consistent profitability over the last 3 years, the owner is retiring, and the son is not interested in taking over the business. Peter is having trouble gauging the value to formulate an offer and would benefit from your help in the comments here.
• HVAC company Deep Dive: Tyler Pharr is in the process of evaluating an HVAC company in Iowa whose owner is looking to sell because he is ready to retire. He's been in the business for 25 years and the company has a great reputation, a decent website, and good reviews. He shared due diligence details with the group here and would love your help answering a couple of questions/providing feedback.
