Flow State - Davi Music (Flow State Records 008)
You’re on the free tier of Flow State. If you enjoy our recommendations, we also put out a two-hour mix every Tuesday and publish a daily Spotify playlist for paying subscribers. Unlock those features and support our work by subscribing to Flow State: Good morning. Today we’re listening to Davi Music, a producer and multi-instrumentalist from Chicago. His new album, which came out on Friday, is the eighth LP from Flow State Records. Good Morning Deja Vu’s tracks are all tape loops, recorded on a 4-track with all analog processing. The record blends natural and synthetic sounds, opening with waves from which synth ambience emerges. The gentle ambience throughout was designed to contain the minimum number of elements capable of generating a feeling. We’re also playing his previous record from last year, Freedom Arboretum, which is equally transporting. Good Morning Deja Vu - Davi Music (40m, no vocals) Freedom Arboretum - Davi Music (40m, no vocals) We wish you a great start to your week.
