• The State of APIs report. Some interesting findings include: APIs are primarily viewed as a monetization strategy, APIs are created and consumed globally, the two most popular API integrations are Salesforce & WhatsApp. 
• FedNow was released to provide real-time banking rails to US banks and customers. Should bring more innovation to fintech & Web3 companies, although tbd on how open the network is.
• Meta released their Llama 2 model making it one of the biggest with open weights that can be used for commercial use (*). Although keep in mind open weights does not equal open source. 
• A framework for how to think about security in relation to LLMs applications including the spectrum of using 3rd party LLMs, to self hosting, etc.
• The meme stock craze doesn’t only apply to GameStop and AMC, but also Palantir too.
• Some ideas on competitive moats on building AI companies.
