What is a Sheetshot?

A sheetshot is a screenshot of a spreadsheet.

Specifically: A screenshot of a Google Sheet.

Made a little "tool" called SheetShot

You paste any sheet url you have, and you get a screenshot of that sheet. With no menu, no fuss, no mess.

Warning: Your sheet must be available for anyone with a link. Or you'll get a screenshot of the signin page.

To get the screenshot just right click on the image and save as. to download it.

Why Would I EVER need a screenshot of a sheet? I can take a screenshot of a sheet.

Yes, You can. I can too. But here's a few situations I've found myself in.

I take a screenshot and the image is not the right size. My hope is to add some more features to get the right size you want every time, every sheet. And I have to fiddle with my screen resolution to get some specific screenshot sizes I want. That's frustrating.

I also find myself on my phone and want a screenshot of a sheet I made, so I can do that now with this tool. And anyone can.

The image it produces now is 1920x1080 (last I checked)

And just between me and you, I did this as a test to see if I could programmatically take screenshots of sheets. Been trying to figure out how to show the sheets you're getting with each tutorial. Right now all the tutorials have a thumbnail image with text with the name of the tutorial on it. That could be better.
