What Amazing Uses Can You Use Tarot for Other Than Divination?Does divination make you uncomfortable? You aren't alone and the good news is, you can still enjoy using a tarot deck. Not everyone is comfortable with divination for religious or personal reasons, which is fine. Everyone needs to do what they feel is the most comfortable for them. And the good news is, for those uncomfortable with divination but interested in tarot cards, there are uses for it. Tarot isn't just for divination. It is excellent for mental health, as you know. Tarot cards can also be used to express creativity and self-expression. You can do so much with the tarot because it is so versatile. Here are some ideas for using the tarot in your creative endeavors. Tarot Cards For Writers And ArtistsThe tarot can serve as a prompt for writing or painting. Your work can be inspired by the image and symbolism of a card picked at random. Suppose you have writing block issues and are unsure of what to write about since you are drawing blanks; all you need to do is pull a card. Writer's block can be resolved with the help of this card, as it will help you develop images in your mind and stimulate creativity. The tarot can help you with so many other things. And recently, I was a host on Medium Day, on August 12th, as I own the publication Tarot Talk, and spoke about how you can use tarot cards to beat writer’s block and stir the imagination. If you want further guidance on how to do that, check 4 Top Books to Help You Use Tarot to Tap Into Your Creative Side. Make a Tarot JournalKeep a tarot journal to record your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Write about what the tarot card means to you every day. Go deep with the card when you draw it. How do you feel? What are your thoughts and feelings? Getting to know yourself and what drives you requires writing it down. That can also lead to dream exploration. The Tarot Can Help You Explore Your DreamsTarot can be used to explore dreams and your subconscious. Start by keeping a dream journal and recording symbols or images that stand out. Next, find the Tarot card that corresponds to those symbols. Keeping a dream journal and tarot deck close to your bedside is a good idea. If you wake up after a dream, you can write your dreams in your journal before they fade. Once you've pulled the cards, explore your dreams further! Using Tarot to Make DecisionsTarot cards can help you make decisions. Consult the tarot if you're unsure about something. See what message the card has for you by drawing a card. This will help you decide what to do. You can draw a card and know what to do when it comes to big decisions. If the decision involves others, however, you should express your feelings to them (you do not have to tell them that you drew a card if they are not open to it), but once they hear your input, they will think about it. The tarot is an excellent tool for more minor decisions. Design Your Own DeckMaking your own tarot deck is one of the most creative things you can do with tarot. I love penguins, so this was perfect for me! Therefore, I created the penguin deck! A unique tarot deck can be created by putting your own spin on the cards. Tarot decks can be created in a variety of ways. You can design the cards or modify an existing deck to suit your needs. Designing tarot cards requires choosing a theme first. There are many ways to incorporate tarot symbolism, from the traditional to the unique. Each card will need to be designed individually after you select a piece. While this is a labor-intensive process, it can also be enjoyable. Once you have created your tarot cards, they must be printed and cut. If you prefer, you can replace some current cards with the ones you have designed in an existing tarot deck. It is a less time-consuming option, but it does require some research on your part. You must start by finding a deck of tarot cards you like and then study their symbolism and meaning. Then, once you understand the tarot, you can modify the deck to suit your needs. Get creative with your tarot deck by creating one of your own. A tarot reading can also help you better understand the symbolism and meanings of the cards and the tarot itself. I hope that gave you some ideas! And there are things to look forward to! I will launch a podcast for free and paid subscribers next month. Stay tuned! I will write up esoteric meanings behind each tarot card for paid subscribers. What I plan to create will be deep, and it will be best for those who have some knowledge of tarot and want to delve deeper into hidden meanings and symbolism. I will keep you updated!
