I did a major audit of my finances a few weeks ago. I wanted to know the exact amount of money it costs me to live my life every single month.

Back when I was single and living with a roommate, that number was manageable.

Now I’m married, have a baby, and have a dog that we treat like a baby, living in one of the most expensive cities in the world.

It costs us a lot to live our lives every month.

We’re not even living it that extravagantly.

Most of the money we spend is on rent, Amazon (ughhhh), and takeout.

While I’m attempting to cut my spending and plan to stop buying random things on Amazon (like super glue and a 6-pack of bouncy ball for my dog), I also am always looking for ways to make more money.

Which is why when I saw that a specific industry was starting to pay employees almost a million dollars a year, I found my eyes glued to the screen to figure out what the heck is going on.

I want to share all of that with you today.

Odd Jobs Paying Almost $1 Million a Year

It seems like these days everyone is talking about AI.

But right now, everyone is talking about how much money AI jobs are paying.

Hinge, a dating app (and the one I used to meet Adam), is offering to pay almost $400,000 to a VP of AI for the app.

Netflix is offering close to $900,000 for the same type of job.

If you ever wanted a high-paying AI job, here’s how you can make moves in the industry.

But if you’re looking for other options, here are some high-paying gigs. Some are super odd and rare but I’m a Bridesmaid for Hire so my role here is tell you that really anything is possible.

Not so odd jobs that can sometimes pay big money

1. Surgeons and Medical Specialists: Certain medical specialists, such as orthopedic surgeons, neurosurgeons, and plastic surgeons, can earn substantial incomes due to the critical and specialized nature of their work.

2. Corporate Executives: Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) and other top-level executives of major corporations may earn significant salaries, bonuses, and stock options, especially in large and successful companies.
