Spotify Newsletter - Spotify Newsletter #176
Hello — Welcome to the latest Spotify Newsletter! Thanks for reading! Spotify ruffled through all their precious data between May and August to find out what the most streamed songs of Summer 2023 are, both globally and in the United States. It should come as no surprise that I listened to absolutely none of the ‘most popular song of Summer 2023.’ Zero. I did hear “As It Was” by Harry Styles many times — but that was in the car listening SiriusXM. My personal summer playlist was more Steely Dan, Spoon, Joan Armatrading, The Guess Who and The New Pornographers, as opposed to Taylor Swift, Bad Bunny, Gunna and - to be perfectly honest - lots and lots of artists I have barely ever heard of. But that’s me. I clearly need to get out more. I need to dip into the Today’s Top Hits playlist more often. Anyway… it was as fantastic Spotify summer for me, as I hope it was for you, too! Have a great day — and thanks for subscribing. ★In the SPOTlight★⭐️ Peso Pluma and Eslabon Armado’s ‘Ella Baila Sola’ Crowned Global Song of the Summer by Spotify
