This week I've updated Spintax. It can now generate Spintax for you. You give it a sentence or a paragraph and it will be "spin" it. The tool is free, but uses OpenAI API KEY to generate.

What's Spintax?

You might be wondering what Spintax is.

Spintax or "Spin Syntax" allows you to write similar phrases and randomly out put them or get a list of all the potential outcomes.

By using the spin syntax you can generate tons of iterations or permutations of sentences and phrases.

You can easily write tons of Headlines

What's New?

I added the ability to generate spintax via OpenAI API in the add-on itself. So now you have a formula in your sheet called "spin_generate()" and it will spin the phrase or sentence for you.

Turns into

Sometimes you just don't know what you want to change so this helps jump start your ideation process.

How Can I Use It?

The way I use it is to generate tons of blog headlines. I can spin through lots of roles in the same format of a headline, and produce an exponential number of variations.

But many people can use it to write emails, facebook ad copy, landing page copy.

Writers could, maybe, use spintax to generate variations on plot twists, character actions, or dialogue.

I can imagine teachers can use spintax to generate variations of wrong or odd spellings and then students have to pick out the correct one.

Use spintax to create dynamic workout plans that change daily. Create variations of the same overall plan.

I'm imagining creating a sheet that replaces well known famous phrases with a keywords to produce rather funny turns of phrase.
