Welcome to the 218th edition of the play to earn newsletter!

With Bitcoin very briefly touching a new all-time high in price, the mood in the crypto scene is looking up! And things are looking pretty good for web3 gaming as well!

Along with most of the rest of the crypto markets, gaming tokens are also on the rise. This was perfect timing for those who just recently launched tokens such as Heroes of Mavia and Pixels. But other game developers are working to get in on the action as well. Chicken Derby should release their BAWK token sometime soon, while Apeiron plans to hold a community sale for their APR token starting on March 12th!

And though their token was released some time ago, Hytopia is clearing things up a bit as they make the initial launch of their mainnet. They have migrated unclaimed TOPIA tokens to the newly launched Topia chain, and set up a bridge-swap for those still holding onto the old WRLD tokens.

Boss Fighters hasn’t announced the date for the launch of their token yet, but they did reveal some more information about their game economy and how the BFT token will play a part.

The Ronin network continues to gain momentum, as the Axie ecosystem grows by leaps and bounds, and third party games such as Apeiron and The Machines Arena join the chain. And speaking of The Machines Arena, they just recently opened up the ability for players to mint in-game skins as NFTs!

The reveal for Emby NFTs went live earlier this week, with three of the unique, 1-of-1, custom NFTs being found — though supposedly several more are still out there, waiting to be revealed!

Ubisoft continues to slowly build the hype for their upcoming game, Champions Tactics. They recently revealed that holders of Warlords NFTs will be able to mint five Champions per Warlord in an upcoming mint. Founder-level NFTs are a pretty hot item, and Ubisoft is a pretty well-known name. Seems like a potentially winning combination!
