Today we’re listening to Four Tet, an English electronic musician. We first recommended him about four years ago. A sui generis fixture in electronic music for decades, he’s put out ambient, minimal house, two-step, trip-hop, glitch, and more. His latest album, Three, came out last Friday. The 8 tracks are mostly chill-out instrumentals with hip-hop style breaks, i.e. great flow state music. We’re also playing a record from Fridge, the post-rock / experimental band in which Mr. Tet played guitar. That record is Happiness, which originally came out in 2001 and was remastered in 2023.
