How art can make commercial spaces generate higher returns
Numerous case studies have proven that strategically placing the right art in business locations intensifies the level of brand belief among investors, staff, and customers as well as having a noticeable positive financial impact. In addition to reflecting the company's values and increasing customer traffic, well-chosen art displays in office spaces can boost employee productivity and teamwork. ATP provides full-service commercial curation of original works, prints, murals, commissions, and seasonal exhibitions from concept to installation, utilizing ATP’s global base of 130,000 artists. You may prefer the convenience and prices of works in ATP’s online store, Readymade, which features ready-to-hang pieces carefully curated for a variety of settings.

Power over data is power over all
To paraphrase the introduction to the recent film Dune: Part Two, some charismatic leaders might assert that monopolizing a vital and scarce resource—in the film's case, "spice"—can yield absolute power.

Data has long been labeled the next oil or electricity, and could also be termed "spice" for its promises of foresight, but it has proven elusive to control, leading to a much more complex struggle between rivals than depicted in Dune.

Data analytics software lies at the core of our research in specific industries like AI & ML, IoT, information security, and infrastructure SaaS. We are now adding dedicated coverage to the field termed "Big Data" in PitchBook's industry vertical taxonomy as database companies take central positions in trends toward software vendor consolidation and AI applications.

Breakthroughs in hardware utilization and business models for data processing produced a boom in VC exit activity in 2020 and 2021—exceeding $50 billion each year led by Palantir and Snowflake—which attracted customers to overhaul their data infrastructure.

The adoption of cloud-native databases has created a gravitational force in organizations that draws in conventional business analytics and cutting-edge AI models alike.

Our launch report on data analytics builds on our own analysis of investment in over 6,700 companies broken out into an exhaustive taxonomy of product categories.

Skepticism of the VC-funded "modern data stack" of data pipelines, quality assurance tools, and analytics platforms means that investors should pay close attention to data scientist sentiment and adoption trends before deciding on the next chosen one.

Feel free to reach out to discuss any of these trends or companies further.
