Remote Work Junkie - Finding a remote job is tough 😖

PSA for job seekers:

Refrain from commenting "I'm interested" on job roles that are shared on LinkedIn.

THIS DOES NOTHING FOR YOU.

If you are going to comment on LinkedIn posts about a job, do a bit more:

☑ State that you are excited after learning about XYZ.
☑ Mention you applied for the role as well and look forward to a discussion.
☑ Share a brief statement as to why you could be a fit.
☑ Get creative, maybe use a video link to introduce yourself.
☑ Or don't comment at all and hit the DM's with some insights.

Find the angle that works for you, but you can't take shortcuts in an employer market like we have right now.

Just writing "I'm interested" won't cut it.

We are rooting for all those on the job hunt. And we know it's time consuming and it flat out sucks with all the competition.

But hang in there and put in the effort, you will eventually be rewarded 💚
