Please join Amanda Mascarelli, our Senior Health & Medicine Editor as she interviews Dr. Lawson Wulsin, about his new book, Toxic Stress: How stress is making us ill and what we can do about it. 

As a regular reader of The Conversation, you probably know and expect that the books we pick will be written by experts - those who’ve spent years researching a certain topic and who have the kinds of insights not easily found elsewhere. Dr. Wulsin is no exception. A Professor of Psychiatry and Family Medicine at the University of Cincinnati, his research has focused on mind-body questions. He’s spent the past 30 years training physicians to be both family doctors and psychiatrists. This is his second book.
