Game launches, NFT sales, playtests, and more! Welcome to the 228th edition of the Play to Earn newsletter!

As usual, the web3 gaming scene remains busy, with more and more games opening up to players, including Project Awakening, a sci-fi sandbox-style MMO being developed by CCP games and set in the same universe as Eve Online.

Another much anticipated game, Guild of Guardians, has now officially launched! And though the game is quite a bit different from their original plans to build a diablo-style dungeon crawler, sentiment seems generally positive. And it probably helps that they’re giving away over a million dollars in prizes during the inaugural game season!

Wild Forest, another mobile-first game, prepares to hold an NFT sale for packs which include 2,000 Lord characters. Lords are limited edition, founder-level NFTs for Wild Forest that will provide their owners with ongoing benefits both in and out of game.

And Moonfrost, another game that has been long in development, prepares for an alpha playtest called Farming Fest. Test the game and earn SHARDS, a mysterious resources whose use is not yet known!

Other games push forward with new playtest releases (many of them offering some sort of play and earn potential) as well including Nyan Heroes, Citizen Conflict, Paradise Tycoon, and many, many more!

Project Awakening Playtest Starts May 21st

Project Awakening, a web3 game created by CCP Games and set within the same universe as Eve Online, is accepting applications for their Phase III playtest, which is set to begin on May 21st.
