News: Today, we’re excited to tell you about our investment in Splash's $6.5M Pre-Seed raise, joining many exceptional founders and investors backing the company.

What they’re building: Splash is on a mission to build the first national brand in pool service through a 2-pronged approach:

1. The acquisition of hundreds of wonderful, small pool service businesses.

2. The development of vertical SaaS to operate and grow pool service businesses.

Why pools, you ask?

"Simple," says founder and CEO Jeremy Yamaguchi:

• "Most critically, there’s no dominant, national brand in pool cleaning"

Prior to Splash, Jeremy was a multi-time home service founder and scaler. Most recently, he founded Lawn Love, a Y Combinator-backed lawn care marketplace.

Jeremy scaled Lawn Love to $20M+ in revenue, 200 employees, and operations in 120 cities across the US.

In 2021, Lawn Love merged with a competitor to form the largest marketplace in lawn care.

"As veterans of this space ourselves, home services is what we know and love. We’ve repeatedly taken small businesses with a single location and grown them into national brands," he says.

"We’re doing this again in the pool care market, and know what it takes to build a great, category-defining business in this space."
