Send it, an NFT community on Solana, launched a free mint of 100,000 NFTs on 4 July. The collection was fully minted directly on X in less than ten hours using Blinks, a new Solana feature enabling users to perform blockchain transactions on any platform capable of displaying a URL. 

Send it topped NFT collection sales on 11 July with $1,373,441 in sales and made it to the top ten NFT collections by sales volume this week at $2,218,399. Over 12,000 unique wallets participated in the mint, with each NFT serving as a raffle ticket for 6.9 SOL and qualifying holders for future drops.

News Highlights

• Crypto.com and Unstoppable Domains have partnered to offer 200 premium Web3 domains priced between $20 and $10,000 in a July sale. These blockchain-based domains provide full ownership rights and support native crypto payments. Additionally, Unstoppable Domains has teamed up with Pudgy Penguins to enable access to Pudgy World using .pudgy Web3 domains, offering single sign-on capabilities and enhancing user privacy and autonomy. 

• Mocaverse, the membership NFT collection for the Animoca Brands ecosystem, led NFT metaverse collections with a 49% share of the trading volume in Q2 2024, amounting to $21 million. On 11 July, Mocaverse’s MOCA airdrop went live, enabling Moca NFT and Moca ID holders to claim and stake their tokens for additional rewards. 

• Notcoin, 1inch, and Sign launched Triangle, a startup accelerator to support the development of consumer apps and enhance Telegram and TON ecosystems. The programme aims to improve TON UX, create ‘tap-to-earn’ mini-apps, and bridge Web2 and Web3 applications.

• Cardano introduced CIP25 metadata validation, enhancing NFT and AMM functionality by enabling dynamic interactions without centralised servers. Additionally, it has implemented the Inter-Blockchain Communication Protocol (IBC), promoting interoperability with other blockchains and supporting Ethereum-compatible dapps.

• The hit anime series Attack on Titan is coming to the metaverse via The Sandbox, featuring NFTs and immersive environments. Kodansha Ltd., the renowned Japanese publishing company behind the series, has approved this collaboration. Fans can expect a LAND sale and interactive experiences that bring the series' dystopian world to life.
