In 2020, Frédéric Aubé set out to challenge the one-size-fits-all nature of furniture with his modular furniture brand, Cozey. With simple, easy-to-assemble pieces that fit into smaller spaces, Cozey took off, generating millions in revenue over its first few years. The next step for Frédéric and Cozey was to take the brand’s direct-to-consumer furniture-in-a-box concept into a retail space, allowing prospective and returning customers to touch and test the furniture before buying it.
