The word is in: this past weekend Erykah Badu and Jill Scott gave us the best Verzuz Instagram Live battle so far. The two goddesses took fans on a 3-hour ride through their catalogs while trading stories and complementing each-other. And they did it all with virtually zero technical issues! The hip-hop community is mourning the sudden death of Andre Harrell, who passed away at the age of 59. As the founder of influential label Uptown Records he is credited for bridging the worlds of hip-hop and R&B and giving Sean Combs his first career break. We also remember legendary soul and R&B singer Betty Wright who passed away this weekend from cancer at the age of 66.
