The New York Times - Our (new!) favorite portable speaker
A great portable Bluetooth speaker is the easiest, most affordable way to spread tunes across a room, backyard, or beach blanket. After our latest round of testing, we have a brand-new top pick: a small, round speaker that has a great sound and an incredibly rugged design. It’s essentially identical to our previous top pick, but with one critical upgrade: USB-C charging. (Finally!) We independently review everything we recommend. When you buy through our links, we may earn a commission. Learn more ›
Before becoming Wirecutter’s social video manager, Katie Quinn lived in Italy. After returning stateside, she found herself desperately missing her Italian neighbors, who would regularly invite her over, fire up their brick ovens, and effortlessly turn out picture-perfect pies. To remedy those pizza blues, she has been using our top-pick oven to host her own weekly pizza parties in Brooklyn. She’s accumulated a few other key pieces of gear, including pie-cutting scissors and the best drizzling olive oil, to whip up great pizzas of her own. Thanks for reading.
