The speed at which the satirical trend has taken hold and Jools’ rapid growth have been fascinating to witness. She has been making TikTok videos since June 2020 and had a significant following before her videos went truly viral (935,800, according to SocialBlade). Her following now sits at 1.4 million — more than 500,000 followers gained in 30 days.

I’ve seen many different takes on what being “demure and mindful” means — here’s my version.

You can also repeat the refrain, “See how I [insert thing]? Very demure, very mindful”. Or use any of Jools’ sounds in your Reels or TikToks.
