  Reporter Eleisha Foon did a good job of pressing the governor on this issue, so it’s a welcome report in that respect.

  Gov. Leon Guerrero also spoke about PIF membership, which, per the Marianas Business Journal, membership for Guam, the NMI, and American Samoa will be discussed later this month.

PLUS: This story from The Guam Daily Post’s John O’Connor about the open house the Missile Defense Agency held in Guam about proposed missile defense testing is worth a read. In the article, we see that landowners who will be directly impacted by the proposed testing walked away from the open house without a clear understanding of the military’s plan AND there seemed to be conflicting information even provided by those speaking for the military.
