Every day I get about 10 DM's in my Message Request inbox. I think I ignore about 69 of them per week.

About once a week or once every two weeks one of them peaks my interest. The reason is pretty simple but lemme give you an example first.

Compare this one:

Hey Yannick, would you want more leads and sales with a high-converting landing page—at no upfront cost?

To this one:

Hey Yannick, Reply with yes if you want me to build and test landing pages that will double your trial signups within two weeks — you only pay when I double your conversion.

With the first DM I have to think. What leads? What sales? And what's a high converting landing page? We already have high converting landing pages.

The second DM is so specific I wanna say yes instantly.

Specificity is sexy; that's why it sells. I don't have to think. I know what I'm getting upfront. The only thing I can do to a DM like this, is say Yes!

There's one thing that could make the second DM (and offer) even better.

Show me the landing page you'll use for me. I've seen many landing pages and I've often been disappointed. So doing the upfront work will give you (the sender) the confidence that you can build a landing page that can double my conversion.

And it will give me (the client) the confidence that I won't waste any time on this. 

(and for the record, I would pay you 5k+ for a landing page if you can double our conversion to trial with it)

App researcher Nima Owji reported that 𝕏 is working on a feature that will allow users to add “tags” to DMs.

This feature could make 𝕏’s private chats more organized and enhance the overall user experience.

YouTube is expanding access to its courses feature, allowing more channels to create and offer courses directly in the app through YouTube Studio.

According to YouTube's announcement: "Once you designate a playlist as a course, your course will have a special course badge on the Watch and playlist page, as well as well as in search home, watch next, and anywhere else your course appears. Courses will appear in a dedicated tab on your channel page and your course may be featured on youtube.com/courses for easy discovery."

Taylor Loren reported that Instagram is notifying users: “You can now comment on Stories. Comments are visible to anyone who views the story.”

According to a tweet from Adam Mosseri: "Friends post a lot more to stories and send a lot more DMs than they post to Feed."

As a result, allowing comments on Stories will likely to significantly boost Instagram’s engagement.
