Tesla's new feature: Actually Smart Summon goes live
Tesla has launched a new feature called Actually Smart Summon (ASS), allowing your car to autonomously come to you or travel to a specified spot, with the Dumb Summon option providing simpler forward and backward controls. This feature has been highly anticipated. since its previous version barely worked, and should go to more cars next week according to Elon.

The new Smart Summon test shows Tesla's advanced feature navigating a large roundabout to pick up the driver on the other side. The car successfully negotiated the roundabout and picked up the driver from the correct location with remarkable precision. In the video, we can also see the camera streaming to the phone in real time, allowing for closer control of the situation.

Alongside, Tesla is now offering a special 1.99% financing rate for Model Y purchases in Canada, with a choice of longer-term financing at 3.99% up to 96 months, available for orders delivered by September 30, 2024.

Tesla starts replacement program for select NEMA 14-50 adapters
Tesla has initiated a replacement program for certain NEMA 14-50 adapters due to a manufacturing issue with third-party supplied units. Owners who received the notification email are prompted to check their adapter's serial number and submit an online form for verification. Eligible customers will receive store credit to purchase a replacement adapter, with no apparent requirement to return the defective ones.
