The DO Lectures - Let’s change how we learn.

Hi there,

9 months, 3 weeks and 2 days ago I started work on making the Micro Blogs Online Course.

At 13.38pm today, I finished filming.

I didn’t plan on it taking so long.

- I wrote a book.

- I wrote a workbook. (178 pages)

- I did three Beta tests in London. I did one Beta test online.

And last week, I did one two-day Mastery workshop on the farm.

I wasn’t trying to do another course; I was working out how to change how courses are done.

Let me explain:

The Micro Blog course will improve your writing, it will help you grow your business, but that is not enough.

The aim of the course is to also connect you with other smart founders.

“In the relationship lies the magic.”

Micro Blog is a team learning course. (Each team will only ever have 9 people.)

Why?

- You learn better together.
- You form friendships with like-minded people.
- You feel part of something.

Learning compounds when you do it as a team.

The quest is to create one of the most completed and impactful courses in the World.

No one wins unless we all win. We need to re-learn how we learn. All 9 people in the team must cross the line. Teams win.

- That is the mission.
- This is a different way to do a course.

Learning doesn’t have to be a solo sport.

In fact, it shouldn’t be.

The completion of courses when we do them on our own is less than 5% on average. Most are far worse.

Not only are they not getting the knowledge they wanted, but there are also no friendships made.

Lose-Lose.

There is another way.

Small Team Learning.

Where you all help each other, look after each other, and help each other keep going when you don’t feel like it.

This is a different way of learning, and it’s better,

For your brain.

And for feeling like you are part of something.

This is different.

(The Pre-Launch test team will start to test the course on Oct 21st.)

That is where you come in.

I want to do a soft launch with just 4 teams. Only 36 places.

(I want to make sure everything is working before we do a big launch.)

So, numbers are limited.

First come, first served.

Good to know.

The price is £350. You will save £100. The price at launch will be £450.
It will start on Nov 4th. (That is when you get access.)
Before that…there are team rituals. Nothing scary. But important.
Teams win because they care about each other. Hence the rituals.
Yes, there will be a WhatsApp group with ONLY your team on.
Your team will have its own name.
Your own motto.
Your own 9-sentence manifesto. Each person writes a line.
You will have your own hashtag.
There will be an app to watch the course.
The platform we will host the course on allows for a small circle of just your team, which will be handy.
You will receive a 178-page workbook FedEx. Tell your doormat.
The course is designed to be easy to consume. Short videos. On purpose.
The course will be a 30-day learning challenge. (Even if you’re busy, this is easy to achieve.)
When the team completes the course, the bonuses get unlocked.
There is then a 30-day writing every day challenge. (Even if you are scared by this, you will be glad you did it.)
This is where your unique hashtag comes into play.
You must help your team to get better. They must help you get better. (When you grow people, you grow.)
When you complete the 30-day writing challenge, there are prizes.
The team goes into the Hall of Fame.
You can then access WhatsApp with other completed teams. The network.
You get an M.B.A – Micro Blog Academy. (A bit of fun…but your mum will tell her friends.)
You will get a referral code. (If two people buy the course because of you, you will have made all your money back.)
