Post-election season is when Battleground shines.

Back in 2020 I reviewed the election results, one state at a time, in a series I called The Fifty. Now that the 2024 election is complete, it's time to do it all again! Every week for the foreseeable future, I'll pick a state and dive deep into its results to better understand how America's electorate has shifted. I'll cover the results of the presidential election as well as down-ballot races to pick apart the nuances of our new political landscape.

This work brings me back to the original reason why I started this blog. While only a small handful of states get attention during presidential elections, when reviewing election results I treat every state like it's a Battleground state. From Alabama to Wyoming, I'll cover every corner of the country to understand how we voted and where our country may be headed in the future.
