‘Andor’ Is Making One Crucial Change in Season 2

When Disney announced Andor, a sprawling prequel-to-the-prequel about Cassian Andor’s adventures before Rogue One, it had a lot going for it. Tony Gilroy, the mastermind behind reshoots for Rogue One, a two-season deal of 12 episodes each, a cast of returning actors like Diego Luna and Genevieve O’Reilly, and new faces like Stellan Skarsgard and Fiona Show were all promising highlights.

The series was still seen as risky, as a small-scale Star Wars story with no Jedi or Sith was the opposite of what the franchise is known for. But Andor was a critical darling that racked up eight Emmy nominations, and now, ahead of its second season, Tony Gilroy has revealed something unique about Season 2 that promises even more greatness on the horizon.

The New ‘Star Wars Outlaws’ Expansion Is a Sleeper Hit I Didn’t See Coming

Star Wars Outlaws was a divisive game when it released at the end of August. For everything it did well, like its atmospheric open-world and story, shortcomings like the forced stealth sections and underbaked combat mechanics undercut its potential. Developer Massive Entertainment has been hard at work recitfying these shortcomings with a healthy amount of tweaks and gameplay additions rolling out for the remainder of the year.

But amid big improvements added to the game last week, the release of Outlaws’ first expansion, titled Wild Card seemed to fly under the radar. I booted up the new content expecting a relatively short collection of missions starring one of the series most charasmatic characters. What I got instead was one of the best gameplay sections and story arcs in the entire game. If Wild Card is any indication for what to expect from the future expansions, Massive Entertainment certainly has won my attention.
