It’s been a little over a month since I returned to the Strategist as lead editor, and today I’m making my newsletter debut to tell you one very important thing: The Gapaissance has arrived. My obsession began about a year ago with a pair of ’90s loose high-rise jeans in a breezy light blue (sized up for a baggier look) that I wore until a massive hole ripped through the knee. That led to great track pants, a cozy polo sweater, and me preaching about the brand’s return to anyone who would listen. Then I started this new job and found out that everyone here was in on it too. It was kismet. We were all discovering our own little corners of the Gapiverse, separately but together.
