The Forty-Five - The soundtrack to your park tins

Hello Friday friends,

Hope you're all doing OK.

It is a right shitter that this year is so totally devoid of fun but as Leonie Cooper found out this week, you can legitimately go and watch The Streets play! In a field! Next month! Which is definitely the most exciting thing I've heard since March.

Here are some other things that have been going on this week. Oh and don't forget to follow our BRAND NEW playlist for new tunes.
The G word
The Glasto blues are real and weighty but let's all remember that our favourite festival isn't dead. It's on the telly loads and it will be back next year. In the meantime, El Hunt remembers some of the best debut sets ever to grace Worthy Farm.
Beep beep boop boop
Sophie Walker entered the superonline world of 100 gecs to talk about their new remix album, soundtracking a Disney movie and why making music is all about being able to afford sushi?
Join (the) ARMY
This week ARMY broke the website and then helped me fix it by mass tweeting The Forty-Five's tech support service (who were otherwise being unhelpful). If that and their derailing of Trump rallies isn't good enough reason to enlist, here's Rhian Daly going deep on all the charitable work done in the name of BTS. They've been at it for yonks!
45s of the week
The soundtrack to your park tinnies, here are the new songs you need to hear this week including Anderson Paak, Remi Wolf, Lil Halima and more. Reviewed by Jenessa Williams.
