SMS, logistics, and deep personalization

Last week on Twitter I was tagged in a conversation asking if email is something brands look to outsource.

I loved the reply from Digitally Native:

Because it wasn't actually a "should brands outsource" question but a "do brands outsource" question. Words matter.

Anyways, it made me think about the most successful brands I know.

The ones who consistently innovate, learn, and push forward.

They're the teams who know that owning the brand from a centralized point matters - a lot. And that's especially true for small brands.

But here's the trick these brands know:

Outsource to learn and then implement internally.

Get the foundation built with a pro and then tweak as time goes on. Keep an eye on the daily metrics that only you can know and pivot based on what you've picked up from working with an outside perspective.

See, that's the thing: an outside perspective is great. It helps you see the forest from the trees (or however that saying goes, I feel like I never get that one right).

But once you have that perspective, learn and apply it. Keeping an agency on retainer to run your social media is nice and all but does it ultimately serve you and your team? Or does it serve the agency?

THAT'S why I've re-worked the Email Marketing Mastery Incubator for brand operators.

Because I've heard from brands time and time again:

They want to learn.

They want to grow and implement.

They want the sidekick who can see what they can't see.

They want to make their brand better by digging in on the pieces they know need help.

They want support of experts in areas like email marketing, logistics, deep personalization, and SMS - and then they want to run with what they learn.

I love brands like this.

If that's you, this incubator is yours for the taking. With a grand total of 12 brands inside, spots are going fast. I have 3 calls today with prospective students. We're kicking off on July 20th so now's the time to decide.

Details are here and there's a link to apply at the bottom of the doc.

Send me your application and I'll personally reply to you.
