QuickScope - Cyberpunk Weapons Trailer Released

Today's Quickscope Deal of the Day is Wolfenstein: Alt History Collection for PS4 - $31.99 $79.99.

  • Wolfenstein is a series of World War II video games that was originally created by Muse Software, before being revived by id Software.
  • The first two games in the series, Castle Wolfenstein and Beyond Castle Wolfenstein, were developed by Muse Software and focused on stealth-based gameplay from a top-down perspective.
  • The majority of the games follow William 'B.J.' Blazkowicz, a Jewish Polish-American Army Captain and his fights against the Axis powers. Earlier titles are centered around Nazis attempting to harness supernatural and occult forces. Those developed by MachineGames are set in an alternate history in which Axis powers won World War II.

Cyberpunk Weapons Trailer Released
During today's Night City Wire presentation, the Cyberpunk 2077 team revealed new information about the game's lifepaths and weapon choices.

Let's start with the Lifepaths. As the name suggests, lifepaths are basically the origin story you assign for your created character. While you'll ultimately define your character through choices you make in the game, these lifepaths will establish a foundation for your creation which helps cover some of the events that are presumed to have taken place before the game. There are 3 lifepaths:
  • Steet Kids - character who grew up on the streets
  • Nomads - roam around in the desert
  • Corpo - one of the big corporations


For weapons, they will be divided into the following categories: Cyerberware, Melee Weapons, Smart Weapons, Power Weapons, Tech Weapons, and Throwables. There are also various weapon mods and attachments you can acquire.

PS5 could take more games away from Xbox Series X, rumor suggests
Sony has already lined up a number of major exclusives through third-party publishers for PS5, like GhostWire: Tokyo and Deathloop from Bethesda - not to mention exclusive Spider-Man DLC for the PlayStation versions of Marvel's Avengers.

Now, though, a new rumor suggests that more multiformat games are destined to become PS5 exclusives - at least for a timed period. On Kinda Funny Games' Games Daily show, writer Imran Khan, formerly a Game Informer senior editor, shared a little info from an unnamed source about Sony's plans for PS5.

'There are things you will be shocked to find out that Sony is moneyhatting, that they are locking up for timed exclusivity,' Khan says. ''Wow, that is a game that you're choosing?' Not because it's bad, but because it's huge.
