  • DARQ is a psychological horror survival game released by Unfold Games on August 15, 2019.
  • The game follows the story of Lloyd, a boy who realizes early on that he is dreaming. After the dream quickly turns into a nightmare, Lloyd realizes that the only way to escape is to cleverly use the rules of the dream world to his advantage.
  • While DARQ does have a number of jump scares, the game creators focus more on building fear through anticipation.

Xbox v. PS5 Comparison
The timeless battle between Sony's PlayStation and Microsoft's Xbox will reach new heights, as the PS5 and Xbox Series X are both slated to launch later this year and almost certainly alongside one another.

Let's take a look at how the Xbox Series X Vs. PS5 battle is shaping up.

  • CPU: No difference here, they both have a 8-core 3.5 GHz AMD Zen 2
  • GPU: Xbox Series X is slightly faster. It has a GPU processing power of 12 teraflops while the PS5's is 10.28 teraflops.
  • Backwards compatibility: Xbox Series X includes more games by including all Xbox One Games / Select Xbox 360 games and original Xbox games. PS5 includes *almost* all PS4 games, including optimized PS4 Pro titles.
  • RAM: No difference here, they both have 16 GB GDDR6
  • Storage: XSX has slightly larger storage with 1 TB while the PS5 comes stocked with 825 GB.
  • Video Quality: Both will produce 8K visuals and support 8K gaming at 120 fps.
  • Launch Games: PS5 is way ahead in this one. Xbox won't have any exclusives and recently delayed Halo Infinite to 2021. They'll launch with Assassin's Creed and Madden 21. Meanwhile, PS5 will be launching with Spider-Man, Gran Turismo, Godfall, and more.
  • Release date: Unconfirmed
  • Price: Unconfirmed but expected to be around $500

Fortnite removed from Apple App Store
Apple has removed Epic Games' battle royale game Fortnite from the App Store after the developer on Thursday implemented its own in-app payment system that bypassed Apple's standard 30 percent fee

Following the removal, Epic revealed a carefully calculated series of responses, including an antitrust lawsuit seeking to establish Apple's App Store as a monopoly and a protest video that aired on YouTube and within Fortnite itself mocking the iPhone maker's iconic "1984" ad and calling on gaming fans to #FreeFortnite by supporting its fight against Apple.
