AD PRO - Career Moves During the Pandemic

Dear AD PRO community,

While many of us are still sheltering in place during this Covid-19 quarantine period, some people have actually made career moves. One of them, I am both sad and proud to say, is AD’s own executive digital director Keith Pollock, who left last week to join West Elm as the company’s new SVP, creative. He’s a top-notch talent and we will miss him. But, don’t worry, we sent him off in perfect pandemic style—with a Zoom farewell!

Keith joined me here in December 2016, one of my first hires after I had been named editor in chief of this iconic brand a few months earlier. I had known him for years and was thrilled to enlist his help in building up the magazine’s digital presence. Since then, AD’s online, video, and social media footprint has exploded. Over the last four years, we launched both AD PRO and Clever, grew AD’s Instagram account to more than 6 million fans, and built a following of 3.7 million viewers on YouTube, among other milestones. It truly has taken a village to achieve this growth, and in Keith I had a great partner in making it happen. I can’t wait to see what he does at West Elm, and we will be sure to share the latest on AD PRO.
