Today's Quickscope Deal of the Day is Metro: Last Light Redux for the Switch - $14.99 $24.99.

  • Metro: Last Light is a post-apocalyptic-themed, first-person shooter video game with stealth and survival horror elements. It was developed by Ukrainian studio 4A Games and published by Deep Silver.
  • A sequel to the video game Metro 2033, its story follows Artyom, a young soldier living in the Moscow Metro after a devastating nuclear war. Tasked with finding the mysterious Dark Ones, Artyom must venture to different parts of the metro system, and the surface filled with radiated gases, and fight against different factions and mutated monsters.
  • Redux adds all DLC and graphical improvements available for the game.

Report: Retail Insider Claims Xbox Series X May Be $599
This one is not "official" in any capacity, and not people doing back-bending calculations about a Monster Energy prize pool to figure out the price of an Xbox Series X, but rather it comes from a retail source.

Gaming journalist/podcaster/host Alanah Pearce was on the Kinda Funny Xcast, and said she was DMed by someone working in retail that showed her a photo of their internal screen that gave a November release date for the Series X, and it said that the price was $599.

Why Asssassin's Creed Valhalla on PlayStation 5 is $10 more on Amazon
Gamers have two choices when buying Assassin's Creed Valhalla, and both of them will net a next-gen version. Buy the current-gen version for $49.99 on Amazon and get the free PS5/Xbox Series X upgrade, or buy the next-gen version for $59.99. Why wouldn't you just buy the current-gen version and technically get two games for $49.99? Why is Ubisoft even discounting the current-gen version and giving us a choice?

The extra $10 is more of a convenience thing and would give the game more value for trade-ins/secondhand sales. We're not sure how frictionless the current-to-next-gen upgrade path will be, and we're not sure how long the promotion lasts. It'll likely be limited just like the PS3 -> PS4 upgrade path that actually charged gamers $10.
