Jobsurv is a great tool for companies to understand their team on a deeper level, or for job seekers to understand the type of company they are best suited for while going into a job hunt. The product comes in the form of a five minute long assessment that breaks down a few different categories like temperament, work style, and leadership tendency. I took it myself, and to be totally honest, it’s pretty dang cool to see the results. Here are the answers to my own assessment.

From this, I know that I am someone who takes control of situations, someone who loves talking things through, and someone who does this all on a relational basis. Now, with me knowing this information, would I want to join a team where I wasn’t in a position to be a driver? Nope So now I know this quality about myself and can look for jobs with these in mind. If I was running a company and I was hiring new team members, this is also a very useful tool to better understand the makeup of who I am about to hire. What’s good is I can even have my current team take this assessment to see the makeup of the team. Try for yourself here.
