Special Edition: Trump Diagnosed With Covid-19

This morning, Americans around the country woke up to find out that President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump have tested positive for Covid-19. The current leading theory is that the President and the First Lady were infected by top White House advisor Hope Hicks, who was diagnosed with the virus yesterday. But even though White House officials knew yesterday that the President had been exposed, they still moved forward with a fundraising event in New Jersey last night. In fact, just hours before he was diagnosed the president said that the end of the pandemic was “in sight.” Now, the governor of New Jersey is encouraging everyone who attended last night’s fundraiser to get tested for Covid-19 and the President has gone to Walter Reed Hospital for observation. Read on below for more special coverage of what the President’s diagnosis means for him and for the country.
