Recently I was asked by an LP why I have so much confidence in a particular investment. The numbers don't really support it.

I said:

- Deeply committed founders

- Know space cold

- High NPS + NRR

- Keep growing each year

- Never quit

This combo: - You can't lose money there

If you took a job, and it didn't work out ...

Remember someone took a bet on you. Try to be grateful. No upside in not being.

If you made a hire, and it didn't work out ...

Remember that's mostly on you, not them. You hired them.

Snowflake was one of the hottest IPOs of 2020, maybe hottest Cloud IPO so far

It now trades at $88B, or 120x its ARR! Growing 115% YoY at $600m+ ARR

Now, we aren't all running data warehouses

But there's a lot we can learn from Snowflake still
