Forbes - A New Direction

On his first full day in the White House, President Biden made it clear that the Covid-19 pandemic was one of his top priorities. He signed a number of executive orders today aimed to slow down the spread of the virus and speed up the distribution of vaccines. Some of the orders include mandating face masks for interstate travel, using the Defense Production Act to ramp up production of personal protective equipment, and using FEMA to establish community vaccination sites within the next 30 days. His plan to control the pandemic is ambitious -- but does it go far enough? The next few weeks will be crucial.
