Lawmakers on both sides of the aisle are calling for the

After focusing on retail, Reddit day traders focused on weed stocks. In a matter of days, the stock prices of
Canadian cannabis producers listed in the U.S. shot up by hundreds of percentage points. Yet, a steep reversal came Thursday as traders cashed in on gains.

An undisputed winner of the so-called meme stock rally saga is
Donald Foss, a subprime-lending billionaire and previously one of GameStop's biggest shareholders, who cashed in big at the end of 2020. Other key players will instead testify before Congress this week.

Walgreens Boots Alliance was revealed to be
an investor in SeekMedicare, a subsidiary of Clover Health that Walgreens was promoting to its customers age 65 and older. SeekMedicare is one of twelve Clover Health-related issues currently under federal investigation.

Talk show host
Jeannie Mai is among a number of celebrities and activists—including actors Daniel Dae Kim and Daniel Wu—who are drawing attention to a string of racially motivated attacks against Asian Americans. She speaks to Forbes about her advocacy.

Epic Games, maker of the
Fortnite video game franchise, is acquiring a 980,000-square-foot mall in Cary, North Carolina, which it will refashion as its new headquarters by 2024. It’s one of many examples of how dying retail properties have been given a new lease of life.
