Forbes - One Step Closer To A Third Vaccine

After a rapid drop in Covid-19 cases and deaths over the past few weeks, Dr. Rochelle Walensky, the new director of the CDC, is warning that the decline is turning more into a plateau. It’s a concerning shift, she says, which could be attributed to the multiple variants that have taken hold in the U.S. But there’s still some good news today: a special FDA committee voted unanimously to endorse the Johnson & Johnson Covid-19 vaccine for emergency authorization. The authorization could come as early as this weekend, which would make this the third Covid-19 vaccine available to the public in the U.S. Whether you’re able to get the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, the Moderna vaccine or the Pfizer vaccine, keep in mind these do’s and don’ts before your vaccine appointment.
