Ah, I love waking up in the morning to an email from someone hating me:

“I'm wondering why someone who thinks teaching people to be rich is an effective way to live a life? Such blatant con artistry must be horribly damaging to your mental health, knowing you are purposely leading the uninformed down a hopeless alley.

Just my thoughts.”

This should be interesting. Don’t worry, I already wrote him back, politely, to see why he thinks I’m a scammer.

Is it...

• He saw the name “Rich” and instinctively thought it was a scam?
• He is disappointed with how his life has turned out, and is angrily blaming someone for his own poor decisions?
• He is trying, against all odds, to reach out and make a connection with someone in this lonely world?

We shall see.

Interestingly, when I write back to emails like this, 50% of people are totally shocked that I actually replied.

GUYS — how many times do I have to tell you?

People actually want to hear from you. More than any time before, you can reach out to CEOs, Olympic athletes, authors, and actors … and if you have something interesting to say, they want to know. They CRAVE it.

Aside from emails from haters like the guy above, I get awesome emails from awesome people all the time. I forward them along to my CEO friends who are hiring (giving them an inside track) or TV producers I know.

A single email introduction can get you in front of hundreds of thousands of people — and I’m happy to do it!
