NichePursuits.com - From 👎 to $7k a month out of nowhere

What would you do if you quickly got traction and started growing from 5, to 6, to $7k MRR out of nowhere with one of your products?

For Jesse Schoberg it meant dropping his other projects to focus exclusively on DropInBlog.

Jesse started DropInBlog in 2015 and the results were pretty underwhelming for the first few years.

Then seemingly out of nowhere the product started gaining traction in 2019.

Now the product is on pace to do nearly 7 figures in 2021!

DropInBlog is a product that gives non-WordPress site users an easy solution to embed a blog on their website. It’s popular for use with Shopify stores and many other platforms that don’t automatically come with a blog installed.

We interviewed Jesse on Niche Pursuits. Jesse’s story is full of helpful and motivational points, and he has some great advice to offer along the way.

His story isn't perfect though. He talks about a $20,000 mistake he made with Facebook ads and what is working to grow the business instead.

The site took a dip in traffic in late 2020, but it's been consistently making around $500/month. A few months back, it was making double, but it's been priced, taking into account its current revenues.

The team has grown from $400 to $22k MRR in one year.
