​My guest on the blog this week has started a business doing just that… coming up with ideas for successful software businesses.

Kevin Conti of Software Ideas does the "boring" work researching and analyzing existing research of successful niche software companies and determines whether or not there is room to compete.

He sends out a paid newsletter to his members containing the results of his research and good business opportunities. The Software Ideas newsletter is now making roughly $10K MRR!

Kevin has even recently quit his day job as a software developer to go full-time on Software Ideas and future SaaS projects!
