I am thrilled to announce that we at Race Capital have made a seed investment in Opaque Systems - Ion Stoica's (founder of Databricks) latest company.

Opaque will redefine how the world analyzes encrypted data in the cloud.   The team is building a full stack data infrastructure platform to enable businesses to do secured analytics by computing unseen & classified (encrypted) data on the cloud.

Over the past year, my team and I have worked really closely with Ion, Raluca, Rishabh, Wenting and Chester. I am super excited about their progress. =)

The future of secured data analytics is coming and they are 👉hiring!

This week a total of 19 startups raised $546.9M in funding, M&As:

  • $387.8M goes to 10 Enterprise startups
