TSConf 2021

I actually don’t mind that conferences move online due to covid. That means I can attend some of them even if they’re “virtual”. I’m definitely on board with TSConf which has a particularly strong lineup this year. Anders Hejlsberg himself will take a mic, but also I’m really excited about Dan Vanderkam (The Effective TypeScript, Gary Bernhardt (Destroy All Software), and Orta Therox (the TypeScript core member). That’s gonna be awesome, go get your tickets now!

Announcing TypeScript 4.4 RC | TypeScript

Speaking of TypeScript. The upcoming version 4.4 seems to become a lot more smarter with introduction of control flow analysis. Basically it’ll be able to better guess the types without us having to overuse type guards, and aligning code in a specific way. Can’t wait.

In other news, I’ve been watching Marvel’s What If…? and was really enjoying it. The episodes are short, the writing is decent (thanks to A.C. Bradley) and the visual is gorgeous. Tons of easter eggs and allusions to MCU’s past events make it really fun to watch.
