NichePursuits.com - Over 200 DR50+ Links In 1 Week!

Well, I just witnessed a really interesting link-building campaign in action...and its been VERY successful. Did you catch it?

​In the Niche Pursuits Facebook Group, Dami shared a creative link-building campaign by a site called Finance Buzz.

What they did is pretty simple, it’s not going to cost them a whole lot, and they have received well over 200 DR50+ links to a single post from the top media sites around the world - and they’re still rolling in.

What did they do?

They are going to pay someone $1300 to watch 13 scary movies while wearing a Fitbit to track their heart rate.

All up, they will probably spend well under $2000, and by the end of it they’ll likely have well over 300 amazing backlinks to their site.

That works out to around $5 or $6 per link for links from the likes of CNN, NPR, USA Today, Insider, and so on.

Whether or not they actually contrived all of this as a way to get backlinks, I’m not sure, but either way, there’s a lot we can learn from the result.

What type of post could you write in your niche that might garner this much attention?

The media are always looking to run with quirky and fun stories like this and I don’t think it’s beyond us to come up with a comparable idea for any niche out there.
