• The government of Guam decided to appeal Chief Judge Frances Tydingco-Gatewood’s¹ granting of a prelim injunction, which allowed residents on Guam (who are a mere 4,000 miles away from the nearest jurisdiction to get a legal abortion) access to telemedicine medication abortion. Currently, as the appeal goes through the court process, doctors off-island can provide telemedicine medication abortion to residents on island.

• The Guam Daily Post had this dog rescue story last week. Very cat stuck in a tree vibe but that’s one of the best things about the news landscape on Guam. You’ll cover something like a pet rescue and then you get to cover something like an international white-collar crime scam.
