Is Dropshipping Popular During The Holiday Season? [Top Terms]

Amazon Top 10 Movers

Hey Reader,

The holidays will be here pretty soon, and you know what that means. Though 2021 is projected to be another record-breaking year, the festivities of holiday gifting is being haunted by fulfillment issues and shipping concerns across the industry. The question is, are you ready?

To raise your spirits a bit as we start this Q4, we’re bringing you the top 10 keywords from September 19 to October 2 that have increased dramatically in search over the past two weeks. Let’s get to know why they’re trending on Amazon!

From Pet Supplies to Baby Category

A common observation that we’ve seen throughout weeks of studying Amazon Top Terms is that TikTok can raise a keyword from the dead. Even when sellers put up an item that’s made for one purpose, TikTok users will find another use for it and hack it into something new for their home.

The latest thing all parents want to try is a “floppy fish cat toy”. The toy was originally meant to be played with by cats, but in this case, it’s been lauded as the perfect way to snooze a baby.

We’ve seen this product earn a drastic increase of 1,256 units per day in the last few days.

From TikTok to your Amazon Warehouses

Fleeting. This is what TikTok trends are like, and by the time you've figured out what the trending product is, it’s too late. The masses will have moved on to something else.

But what about retail arbitrage? You could market a trending product on TikTok that’s in your warehouse. In the blink of an eye, it’ll be ready to sell. Sound enticing to you? Learn How It Works and How You Can Earn From It here.

The Keyword Under the Microscope

With Halloween just around the corner, it’s time to get ready for the spooky sales season. This holiday is a great opportunity for sellers and dropshippers to bump up their revenue and get great profits thanks to the high commercialization of this holiday.

Two of the hottest keywords this week are “inflatable halloween” and “ghost decorations outdoor”. The sales for these products are 192 units per day for the former and 284 units per day for the latter in the past two weeks, but we expect more sales as Halloween gets closer.

Should You Dropship Halloween Products in 2021?

Can you gain more traffic from potential customers by offering Halloween products? Or should you sell a combination of seasonal products together with general products?
