Teal pumpkins on porches signal a home has allergy-friendly treats to hand out on Halloween night (and children carrying teal pumpkin pails are signaling they have allergies).

 

Happy Friday! It’s the Friday before Halloween so now’s a great time to give a shoutout to the Teal Pumpkin Project and our favorite Halloween safety hack: glow sticks. While you’re thinking about the Teal Pumpkin Project, here is a neat chart showcasing which Halloween candies are free from which allergens.

And speaking of Halloween, we have a treat for you today—22 facts about Hocus Pocus there’s a good chance you didn’t know. We love Hocus Pocus and trivia, it’s true.

And water cooler trivia? You know we have some. This day in 1929 was “Black Tuesday”, the day that marked the second wave of massive stock selloffs that lead to the U.S. stock market collapse ultimately referred to as The Great Depression.
