Not a fan of Tesla’s Yoke butterfly design steering wheel? You’re not the only one. A Model S Plaid owner replaced the Yoke in his car with the Model 3’s regular round steering and stalk system. Why keep something you don’t like, right?

The clever Tesla owner did all of the work himself and even tinkered with the car’s software. Does the Frankenwheel actually work though? And will Elon Musk ultimately decide to bring back the regular steering wheel for this model? We’ve got the answers (and a video, too).

Other Highlights:

  • A Windows 11 bug? Unheard of. Except for this silly bug in the Dev Build that makes task bar icons super gigantic.
  • Will HBO Max and Discovery+ be merging into a single all-powerful streaming service?
  • Looking for a great pair of earbuds? Got $100? I just reviewed Skullcandy’s brand new Grind Fuel true wireless earbuds and they’re the bee’s knees.
  • … and more—keep scrolling!
